Network Administrator and IT Support
Daily supervision of our optical network, customer equipment and user support. No prior experience required. We will train you.
We manage our own optical network in the centre of Prague and customer premises equipment. We are seeking an administrator to take over daily network supervision and user support, with the aim that they will eventually become a fully competent network administrator.
We are not looking for ten years of experience. We seek someone who understands networks, is reliable in routine tasks and eager to learn, even straight from school. We will train you on real operations, not in a classroom.
The day involves reviewing monitoring data and deciding which night alerts require action and which are false alarms. This is followed by handling customer equipment, backups, updates, and user queries. The network is small and clear, making it easy to master completely.

What You Should Be Able to Do
- Knowledge of networks at the TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS and VLAN level: at least theoretically; you will gain practical experience with us.
- Experience with Windows and Microsoft 365 at user level
- The ability to describe what you have done and not be afraid to admit when you are unsure about something.
- Independence in routine: a task that repeats every day is also completed on Friday afternoon.
An advantage, not a requirement.
- Active Directory and Windows Server
- MikroTik, Ubiquiti or TP-Link: our entire network runs on them.
- OSPF and VLAN in practice, BGP at least theoretically
- Monitoring in Zabbix or LibreNMS
- Linux at command-line level
- Experience with another internet provider or at a helpdesk
